COAST exists to limit the rate of taxes and spending at the Federal, State, and local level to within the rate of inflation and to stop the abuse of power by government officials.

COAST held it's 2006 Membership drive fundraiser featuring Congressman Steve Chabot on Monday February 13, 2006 at the Watson Brothers Brewhouse. Many politicians and concernced citizens came out to support COAST.

Chris Finney announced the winner of the 2005 "Marie Antionette Let 'Em Eat Cake" Award, given to the elected official who most blatantly demonstrated his or her lack of empathy for the plight of beleaguered over-taxed payers of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.



Tom Brinkman stabbed the cake with pictures of Marie Antionette and Jean Schmidt on top.
