Employment History

Upon becoming licensed to practice law, Mr. Urling worked as a Hamilton County Assistant Prosecutor in the juvenile court and child-support divisions for one year. He is currently employed as a civil defense litigator.

Since assuming duties as chairman of COAST, Mr. Urling has been involved in efforts to reduce the tax burden placed on Hamilton County and City of Cincinnati taxpayers by opposing tax increases or spending for such boondoggles as: the Regional Cultural Alliance, Banks development, efforts to bring the 2012 Olympics Games to Cincinnati, and tax increases for subsidies for Cincinnati Public Schools.
